Clandestine Vineyards Grenache 2018

Share

This is a Grenache for lovers of dare I say it, Gigondas. Red black and blue fruited tones, deep red cherries, ripe blood plum and blackberry. A huge array of botanicals and spice from juniper berries to clove, soft licorice and dark chocolate. The small percentage of whole bunch adds a sliver of herbs, sage and wintergreen.

The palate is lifted and elegant, a touch of alcohol sweetness on the finish reminding you yes this is Grenache. They have packed a whooping amount into this bottle and the generosity of fruit and aromatic lifts represent Blewitt Springs and McLaren Vale alike.
