Clover Hill Cuvée Exceptionnelle Rosé 2016

Share

This limited release comprises 59% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir and 3% Pinot Meunier, and spends 43 months on its lees. The colour is a pale cerise with rose gold highlights. Plentiful, fast-moving bubbles. Expressive perfume with ruby grapefruit, strawberry and light Danish pastry as expected, but intriguing gun smoke and pink salt crystals. This layered and complex rosé with a fine, ethereal mousse carries the signature acid spine and drive, while offering generosity and depth. Lingering red fruits and textural grip are prominent through the long finish.
