Lovely, lifted aromas of lemon zest, melon, lime juice, lemon pith and jasmine. Pretty and pure. There’s good mid palate intensity and freshness, with melon, lemon juice, lime skin, and a blossom prettiness adding lift. A lick of residual sugar adds viscosity and interest, before being quickly drawn into linearity by high, pithy, citrus-drenched acidity. Good clean line and length through the finish. It’s the balance that makes this wine, holding together fruit, sugar, and acid beautifully. Five to ten years in the cellar will reward.
