Crittenden Estate Peninsula Chardonnay 2021

Share

Quite light bodied but with excellent fruit intensity and palate length, this was a cool year and it’s reflected in the fine lines of the wine. It received a mix of new, one and two-year-old French oak barriques and puncheons after whole bunch pressing and was all wild yeast fermented and then spent about nine months in barrel. Has a savoury minerality with a subtle primary fruit character of fig and lemon with just a touch of almond meal.
