Crittenden Savagnin Sous Voile 2019

Inspired by the Jura traditions of aging wines under flor but made with Australian grapes and philosophies. Rollo Crittenden has been forging the way in this progressive and exciting world of flor yeast and textural magnificence. The 2019 Sous Voile opens with rainier cherries, loquat and lemon balm. Mustard fruits, honeycomb and a densely packed layer of roasted sesame and almond praline. A meeting point of fine acidity, fruit sweetness, bitter and oxidative tones do nothing but stimulate the palate into other realms of deliciousness. Perhaps one of the longest flavour palates of any white wine you’ve ever tried. This is another triumph and icon of the Australian wine world. Recently I tried this wine with a Kimchi and aged cheddar toasted sandwich and it was elite. Highly recommend it. Drinking well now and will age glacially for another 15 years.
