A lovely gamut of black cherries, liquorice, blackcurrant, macerated violets, cracked pink peppercorn, cedar, ylang-ylang, vanilla pod, and bay leaf. On the palate it offers the right mix of drinkability, moreish character, freshness, and puckering tannins. A savoury–herbal duality emerges toward the finish, adding a needed point of difference that keeps the interest high and the drinker engaged.
