Rosenthal The Collector Chardonnay 2020

A wine which takes full advantage of this great WA vintage. It comes off the Langton vineyard just out of Mount Barker. Plenty of smoky bacon, stone fruit characters on the nose. Then the palate reveals extraordinary power and drive. It displays white peach and subtle spicy lift with a layered textural mouth feel. More time in French oak with a higher percentage of new has been necessary to balance the powerful fruit.
