Take your time here. This wine is coiled very tightly and benefits from several hours in a decanter. Even better still, if you manage it, a few years in the cellar. It will only be better for it. Right now, it’s still quite a remarkable wine, dark cassis berry characters densely packed, intense and concentrated with vibrant fruit from start to finish. Around that core, the oak is charry yet subdued and supportive, the palate structure full, tight, and very well mannered. Classy drinking.
