DAOSA Blanc de Blancs 2022

Sourced from Xavier Bizot and Lucy Croser’s Summertown district vineyard in the Adelaide Hills’ prized Piccadilly Valley region, this is a superbly rendered sparkling Chardonnay with delightfully fine bead and overarching fruit expression, white peach and nectarine to the fore and just the initial sense of classic traditional method yeast bun characters beginning to show after more than four years maturation on its lees in barrel and then bottle. Fresh, fruitful and zesty with a pithy acidity, and if you look closely, a distinctive white peppery finish. Moreish and exciting to drink.
