D’Arenberg Custodian Grenache 2020

A superb McLaren Vale Grenache, which sees open fermenters, foot treading, basket pressing and time in seasoned French oak. A deep red, this is beautifully perfumed; strawberries, raspberries, florals and truffles. There is a silkiness to the wine with impressive length. A really good example of Grenache from the region, it offers fine tannins, zesty acidity and a lingering finish. A cracking Grenache which is brilliant value and should drink very well over the next six to eight years.
