The winemaker suggests this is one Pinot that can take extended ageing. Who is to disagree? All class, this is one sophisticated Pinot Noir. Aromas of cherry, violet, rose, touch of dried herbs, vanillin spice and gentle oak. A light savouriness pervades the wine, an extra layer in a multi-layered Pinot expression. However, at its heart, this is essentially about the fruit and the oak, a partnership that brings a fineness of cherry-berry-red fruits with spiced plums, vanillin spice, red liquorice, cola, dried leaves, tomato leaf and herbs. Comes dressed in super fine tannins, so smart and so fine-edged in detail. The more you look, the more you discover. A Tassie Pinot to excite.
