Devil’s Corner Resolution Chardonnay 2018

Wild chamomile and lemon blossoms lead into aromas of intensely concentrated yellow nectarines, and a mound of lemon rinds – the muddled flesh, pith and zest of a homemade lemonade stand. There’s a minerality that conjures images of fluffy whipped egg white and a delicate vanilla oak.

On the palate it’s power and sophistication. Profoundly concentrated, bringing back all that yellow stonefruit and citrus with the zinging acidity that Tasmania’s cool climate does so well. There’s a hint of almond nougat, nutmeg dusted custard tart; a suggestion of the complexity it will develop with age; if you can wait that long.
