Prosecco. Wow. The cork pretty much came out of its own accord, such is the energy and vibrancy of the bubble in this bottle. Clear pale straw in colour, and fresh and pure on the nose, there is summer pear, green apple and fresh lime. The mousse is expanding in the mouth, the wine itself is bright and fresh, finishing on a candy floss, sherbet note. It is abundantly clear why this style of wine is the preferred quaffing choice of so many around the world. Simple and easy.
