Luigi Vico Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d’Alba 2017

Share

A breathtakingly approachable Barolo with so much to offer. There is a gorgeous colour followed by beautifully ethereal aromas with an almost pinot noir-like seductive quality. Raspberry and red cherry with a dusting of spice and florals. There is real delicacy here. Flavours are then intense with red fruits topped by tea, potpourri and spice supported by ample but remarkably well-integrated tannins. It’s so drinkable now but also clearly has the balance to drink well for some time to come.
