Eddystone Point Pinot Gris 2024

Share

Tasmania bats well above the national average for quality Pinot Gris, and this is no exception. Fruit coming from the Derwent Valley and from the North West Coast, and then fermented in oak. Pale straw colour with a suggestion of onion skin bronzing. Sliced beurre bosc and nashi pears, daffodil florals, a kiss of musk, waxy lemon skin and a dewy melon freshness. Carrying a little weight before Tassie acidity crispness bites. Full of flavour with pear flesh, yellow melon and blanched almonds.Bittersweet citrus shines through the tail. Well put together and balanced.
