Georges Clare Valley Malbec 2019

A big and bold expression but also fresh and spicy and carried through with sensitive winemaking on display. Earth, autumnal, black cherry, blueberry, sage and spice-led aromas. That spiciness really sings in this four-year-old red, a star performer with cinnamon and baking spices that enliven the wine. Delivers a smooth flow of ripe fruit concentration and measured oak on the palate with a touch of earthy, prune savouriness for added interest. Supple texture, flowing easily, rich in palate warmth and, yes, that spiciness rocks.
