Gralyn Estate Artizan

Ah, I do love liqueur muscat when it’s done well combining age and well managed freshness. This is a remarkable example of a classic old muscat dominant fortified wine with so much deep luscious fruit intensity. The average age is about 20 years which means a lot of this material would be a good deal older. Deep and persistent palate with complex spices, fruit cake and honey characters. There’s butterscotch and super rich mum’s fruitcake. Multi-layered and deeply intense and rich, it is a luxurious glimpse of what we used to drink.
