In this case, from the exceptional 2024 vintage, which has produced a wine that is concentrated, intense, and powerful, yet presents with wonderful balance and poise. Loads of dark fruit cascade across the palate with a subtle, slightly mocha-like character and a touch of cedar adding further lift. It’s a generous wine that’s certainly drinking well in the short term, but predictably will handle cellaring.
