Grant Burge The Holy Trinity Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvèdre 2023

Share

The Holy Trinity, you might think, refers to the three varieties within, but in fact it is named after a church in the Lyndoch district of the Southern Barossa Valley, much of the fruit for this traditionally sourced from vineyards in this sub-region. A rich history, and a seductively rich wine as well, the native bush fragrance of Grenache and spice of the Shiraz and Mourvèdre synchronising into an earthy, mineralled aroma, followed by an attractively sweet fruited palate, this time plum and chocolate in harmony, warmly stimulating and generous in its communal mindset.
