Gullyview Estate The Fruitful Grenache 2025

Share

All the glory of exquisite fluro red berries, cranberries, Morello cherries and raspberry compote. Rose petals and sandalwood. The wine is slinky and with some notes of apple and raspberry cordial. Tannins are quite soft and the wine trickles over the palate providing less ripeness and more curves and caress than expected. Those powdery tannins are impressive, this is a very good showcase of forward thinking modern Clare Valley Grenache. I think this also has a few years ahead of it too. Drink with Korean fried chicken, the spicy kind.
