Yelland & Papps Vin de Soif Barossa Valley Grenache Cinsault Mataro 2023

Share

Vin de Soif is a lovely French expression meaning an unpretentious thirst quencher. It is well applied here on this GCM, which may very well be the only GCM produced in Australia. Easily impresses with its lush fruits, light savouriness and structure. It has all the bases covered for immediate good drinking enjoyment. Brings ripe blue fruits, plums, red berries, fennel, oregano and a subtle savoury earthiness to the glass. Medium bodied, flavoursome and nicely structured, all GCM asks for is a lazy afternoon with a platter of cheese and bikkies by its side.
