Handpicked Wombat Creek Chardonnay 2024

Share

The elevated site has fared very well this vintage with high tones of Lemon myrtle, lemongrass and green apple but richness from some young almond and nougatine mid palate creaminess. Dazzling with arching lines of elevated acidity and moreish succulence. This will wake you up and keep you quivering for hours, some gentle almond milk and light toasty oak just keeps flavours rolling on. A wine for creamy pasta dishes, cacio pepe or the likes. Drink now or cellar for 8-10 years further.
