Peach hard boiled lollies, lemon zest and nectarine skin. Almond croissant, powdered sugar and faint chai spice. Its oozy lemon centre flourishes with ginger and treacle tarts alongside. Some glossy dried apricot and honey on the finish. It’s wildly exciting, with squeaks of acidity and offers plenty of fruit density and a touch of sweetness, in the form of a cheeky wink right on the end. It’s excellent at its price point would turn any gathering into a party. Drink now with quiche lorraine or cheesy, chicken vol-au-vents. Drink now and often.
