Happs Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

This warmer early year seemed to suit Cabernet down at Karridale. This make quite a statement for cooler climate Cabernet. Aromas of leafy black olive and bay leaf overlay a deeper blackcurrant fruit influence. There is a touch of iron filings minerality running deep. The palate is tightly held with firm grainy tannins. There is no new oak in this but the second fill oak plays an important part.
