Hardys HRB Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Share

A blend of fruit from Margaret River, Coonawarra and Frankland River. Here the stellar fruit sources show in its concentrated flavours of blackcurrants, Bing cherries and a hint of bilberry and blue fruit. The old pencil box adds a touch of nostalgia and oak shines in its cedar, sandalwood and clove spice. Acidity sucks at the side of the palate which is lengthened by the intensity of fruit flavours. Tannins are a plume of fine powder and all to the overall satisfaction of the drink. Another wine of quality and value, drinking well now with any chewy beef cuts like flank. This still has another 8-12 years to develop, I’d suggest buying at least 6.
