Hare’s Chase Mataro Rosé Barossa Valley 2024

A blend of Mataro and Cinsaut from the Barossa Valley, given a cold fermentation and then bottled without fining. The colour is a gleaming orange pink. The nose reveals notes of herbs, cherries, spices, delicatessen meats, florals, orange rind and bergamot. The wine has bright acidity contributing to the vibrancy, and a little grip. There is decent length here and that freshness is still prevalent at the clean, crisp finish.
