From the Barolo Communes Monrobiolo vineyard, and within that single plots and sections defined for this specific selection. Dark cherry skin colour, rose and lavender perfumed high notes over the top of thyme and sage leaf. It’s all quite heady to begin, offset with a tight palate at first, tense and powerful, tannins and flavour competing for attention with provides for great energy as you sip and plenty to grab on to as savoury elements make their way into palate construction. A wine with latent potential, youthful now with a great future ahead.
