Henschke Croft Chardonnay 2019

Share

Crafted with fruit off the Henschke vineyards at Lenswood, this is a bright, fresh and very pure style of chardonnay that showcases its cool Adelaide Hills origins. Pale in colour, there are nectarine, citrus and marzipan fruit aromas that are finely interwoven with understated oak. That restrained style continues on the palate where attractive fruits are matched by a gently creamy texture well balanced with tangy acidity which help to support a lingering finish. It’s probably a little young and raw right now and will fill out over the next 3 to 5 years. When it does it will be delicious with Vietnamese noodle salads.
