Hewitson are fully committed to making their wines as sustainable as possible with solar energy and recycled water usage for the winery and the wines being vegan friendly too, if that is important to you. Made from Mourvèdre and Cinsault, this Rosé shows a dusty, pale peach hue with a rounded and approachable nose. Toffee apple, caramel latte, strawberry husk, white cherry, easy rose petal, light orange citrus and a little leafy, cool herbal lift. The palate is where the fun starts to happen. With depth of fruit and texture, there’s generosity up front leading through a smooth mid-palate. Balance is achieved with a crisp, dry and clean tail, the coda being a lingering cool refreshment. Pour alongside beef carpaccio or chunky bouillabaisse.
