Hewitson Gun Metal Riesling 2022

I’ve always liked this bracing Riesling which is sourced from a high-altitude Eden Valley vineyard from old soils that display a distinct ferrous ironstone minerality. They impart a character that seems perfectly in sync with the name of the wine and its tight minerally palate with a fine lick of citrus and spice. Has a beautiful feel in the mouth which remains high in tension and precision.
