From a vineyard in the southern end of the Barossa, closely guarded by the Eden Valley and nearly touching the cool Adelaide Hills. Barrel maturation in old French oak for 14 months. Bright bruise purple colour. Plenty of cool spice influences: pepper and clove with blood plum, chocolate praline, cola syrup, soft leather and blood orange. Elegantly styled with cool climate dark spice signatures over soft, plush fruit. Fresh, with a lightness through the tail. Tasty stuff indeed.
