Hewitson Lulu Shiraz 2021

You’ll fall in love with this beaut little Barossa Shiraz from the first take on the nose. It is a highly scented Shiraz from one of the cooler parts of the Barossa between Eden Valley and the northern end of the Adelaide Hills. It is not a monster but rather full to medium bodied with succulent juicy plummy blackberry fruit that captures its cooler climate origins. There’s a nice, dried herbs and black pepper lift to balance the sweet dark fruit. Fine tannins and neatly infused French oak complete a terrific drink for the next few years.
