Hewitson Madame Blanc & Blanc 2021

Share

You can pretty much guarantee that Dean Hewitson will come up with something different in his new releases. This one is based on the light Mediterranean aromatic whites and is a blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat blanc à petit grains, a variety which has been part of the Barossa for more than 170 years. It’s a deliciously appealing wine revealing sweet melon characters, a little snow pea and tropical guava. The finish is pleasant and lingering with a hint of sweetness, although the variety can give you that impression.
