Nearly 100% whole berries from a mature vineyard with an average age of 30 years and sees maturation in French oak. Archetypical Barossa nose with sweet plum, easy choc, some pencilly cedar oak influence, black olive and suave charisma. Where the palate differs is through offering a briny, minerally spine peppered with spice and not overblown or blousy. Textural with layered and loose knitted tannin and dark fruit profile. A thoroughly drinkable, mid weight expression of the Barossa.
