Marchesi Mazzei Castello di Fonterutoli No 10 2019

Share

Looking for a first step into the wide world of Italian wine? Then look no further than the Fonterutoli No 10 blend of Merlot and Sangiovese with its layers of sweet dark fruits plus a distinctive savoury, Italian edge. There are blackberry, dark cherry and cedar spice aromas with a dusting of dried herbs. It then takes a more savoury turn on the palate with juicy red cherry fruits, earth and green herbs underpinned by sandy tannins before a lingering, dark fruited finish. Fantastic drinkability but also has enough structure behind it to match up to homemade lasagne.
