From a single vineyard planted in 1853. Dusty, like old parchment with depth of black jube and raspberry though utterly replete with clove, cassis and leather. The age of the vine is undeniable in the concentration with cocoa powder tannins and sublime length. This is a special release that manages to be light, elegant and delicate while never dropping its intensity, focused by surprising acidity.
