Hewitson Ungrafted Grenache 2022

Share

From a centurion (110 years old) vineyard grown on the sandy loam banks of the Para River. 85% whole bunch and 9 months in old French barriques for primary fruit focus. Medium ruby colour highlights the elegance. Pretty rose petal folds, jubey raspberry, fresh ground coffee, redcurrant crystals, a touch of herbal lift and bittersweet licorice strap. Such delicacy and drive, with hyperfine tannin and exquisite length, this sails through the palate with an effortless breeze.
