Hidden Creek Syrah 2021

There is a tiny inclusion of Viognier here, but basically a Shiraz/Syrah made in the Rhone style. A soft crimson colour, the nose exhibits earthy notes, with dry herbs, spices and leather, but dominated by red fruits, especially raspberries and cherries. Fresh, medium weight and with decent length, there are fine if slightly gritty tannins. Drink for the next four to six years.
