Hollick Wrattonbully Shiraz 2022

The team’s Shiraz vineyard in Wrattonbully offers similar shallow terra rossa soils over limestone, as is found in Coonawarra. The wine has an opaque maroon/purple hue. On the nose, we have notes of black fruits, cassis, coffee beans, aniseed and mocha. Beautifully balanced and exquisitely structured, on the palate we see the emergence of hints of licorice and smoked meats. The wine is medium bodied with fine tannins and is of mid length with a sleek and subtle texture. Enjoy over the next eight to ten years.
