Howard Park Flint Rock Chardonnay 2022 

This Great Southern Chardonnay unfolds crunchy Pink Lady apple, pink grapefruit, fleshy mandarin, and, with a bit of air, fresh cream and bread crust on the nose. The palate shows a mountain’s rivulet of fresh water-like acidity with that lick of rock minerality, disrupted here and there by little waves of lees. It is very nervy and tense at the back yet possesses decent persistence.
