In Dreams Upper Yarra Chardonnay 2022

The aromas are remarkably floral for Chardonnay; there’s white blossoms and chamomile lifted against ripe white peaches, grapefruit, and spoonfuls of lemon curd. A hint of savoury lime leaf and chalky seaside stones drift in the background. In the mouth it’s silky and creamy in texture but without any buttery notes. The acidity is beautifully integrated – bright, zesty and refreshing. A delightful little Chardonnay at a good price; pair with long summer afternoons, preferably with a view.
