Kilikanoon Mort’s 1973 Single Vineyard Watervale Riesling 2025

A very pure and precise Riesling from this 1973 planted vineyard in the Watervale sub-region. It’s quite fine and delicate, with a lovely balance struck on the palate. It has a fine flinty minerality, with a lift of florals and citrus quite evident. It’s a finer, more delicate style to the ’24 vintage and is quite beautiful. I love drinking this wine now, but it will handle further time in the cellar for sure.
