Kilikanoon Mort’s Block Watervale Riesling 2025

Share

Fragrant and so delicate as always, Mort’s Block ’25 boasts a fine level of detail that is a strength of the wine. Engages with a scent brimming in lime juice, citrus, lemon skin, spring flowers, kaffir lime, lemongrass and a whisper of fresh ginger. The Asian notes of ginger, lemongrass and fennel seem to have a bigger role than in some previous vintages. A brisk acidity carries the palate, linear in shape and vital and fresh, with a lovely purity of citrus, florals and gentle spices. Lovely.
