If we drink with our eyes, then this young Grenache is an immediate hit with its eye-catching vivid red-purple hues. What follows will not disappoint with a lively, sweet fruited rendition of Clare Grenache from the Watervale sub-region, well-suited for immediate enjoyment. . . or not. That’s your call. It can take both. Ripe raspberry, red cherry, clove-woody spice and chocolate come on strong in aroma. There’s an inherent energy to this Grenache, juicy and lively in red fruits and spice. Maturation in seasoned oak brings a warm texture, while a fine tannin presence keeps structure keen. A wine of freshness and lift.
