Kyneton Ridge Skipping Rabbit Pinot Noir 2023

Share

Deeply hued, the fruit grows on granitic sand and matures in French oak of which 15% is new for 9 months. Punchy blackberries, juniper and black cherries. Black forest cake, clove and tobacco leaf. There is licorice all-sorts on the palate with hemp leaf, sage and rosemary herbs. Tannins are gritty but well worked into the wine and provide a sappy quality that’s commendable while acidity chugs along. This has plenty of flavour and weight for a Pinot Noir of its price point. Serve alongside a bbq of Brazilian churrasco and you’ll be pretty popular with your friends.
