La Noblesse Loire Valley Gamay 2019

Share

Most of the Gamay in France is planted in Beaujolais although there are also little pockets of this user-friendly red grape variety to be found in Burgundy and the Loire Valley. The cool Loire Valley makes a very different style to that found further South which is fresh, bright and juicy.

This is a delicious Summer red, that could handle a slight chill, and is fragrant with subtle red currant and graphite aromas plus nice touches of spice. It is then dry, light-weight and tangy in the mouth with a distinct earthy/spicy side and supple tannins. Use it to wash down spicy chicken fajitas.
