Langmeil Three Gardens Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2020

Share

Gardens are an old Barossa term for vineyards, so here in this wine we have the three gardens of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro, also known as Mourvèdre. From vines between ten and 49-years of age, this GSM has loads of blue berries on the nose: fruits of the forest, black cherries, blackcurrant jelly even, plus some savoury liquorice notes. The wine is juicy; it’s a fruit-driven style, bright and easy to drink. Some silky tannin to finish and Bob’s your uncle. Like its sibling, it’s excellent value and would be a ripper with some thinly sliced beef carpaccio with shaved parmigiano, rocket and spicy new release olive oil.
