A tiny 11.5% alcohol and so, so complex.
Isn’t it always the way with Riesling, that it is the quiet ones that fill the glass with the most beguiling blend of floral aromatics and flavours?
Honeysuckle fruit blossom to the fore, lemon curd with a fruit tingle brightness. The scent is captivating. Not sure if it’s the brisk acidity or fruit intensity that powers the wine, but there is genuine complexity aided by a smidge of sweetness with nougat, orange peel, spice. Waxy textural mouthfeel.
