Pale straw in colour, the Seppelt Jaluka Chardonnay immediately sets the tone with citrus pith plus touches of tangerine all beautifully intertwined with quality oak – the use of oak is a standout feature. Juicy acidity, as you would expect from Henty, is well matched to a creamy palate thanks to almost full malolactic fermentation before a savoury, crushed cashew finish. An early drinking style that delivers on every level.
