Kavel Estate The Congregation Barossa Valley Shiraz 2018

Share

A change of beat here, one that is firm in structure and more finely edged to what might be described as a traditional Barossa shiraz. Neatly tuned, too. The subtle character of the wine allows a quiet but balanced placement of fruit, spice and gentle oak interplay. Dried herbs, a touch of aniseed, black berries and plums with well-crafted tannins. The volume is turned down which actually lets the fruit sing more sweetly.
